THE PROMOTION IS NO LONGER IN STOCK

When the retailer advertises, and offers a promotion for some products, he must have sufficient stock. In some cases, the consumer may require the retailer to give him a voucher which will allow the consumer to purchase the product under the same conditions as the sales promotion condition within a reasonable time. To do this:

  • Advertising was done outside the shop (radio, TV, internet, folders, etc.).
  • The price was specified in that advertisement.
  • The value of the product is greater than €25.
  • The retailer did not provide clear information that the promotion was while stocks last or for a limited number of products (e.g. the first 50 customers).

The retailer may also refuse to give such a voucher when he can prove that it is no longer possible for him to purchase those goods under the same conditions.
